The Ultimate Coffee Date

#coffeedateGood morning! Thank you ladies ( Jill, Nikki, and Lynda ) for inviting me for coffee!  I have some fabulous things to share with you!  I have a nice BIG mug of hot coffee (French roast) with a little sugar-free vanilla coffee creamer and a spoonful of coconut oil.  So let’s get started shall we?

If we were drinking coffee together…..

I would tell you God is great!  If you have followed my Save the TaTas series (if not click here for the first post) you know my longest, closest and dearest friend is battling breast cancer.  I was in Atlanta last week for the double mastectomy and I am back home.  Her follow up appointment with oncology was yesterday and they have it gotten it ALL!!!  No chemo or radiation needed!  I cannot express enough how happy and excited we all are!  She still has to get down the reconstruction road but this is a sweet hurdle to clear!#attitude

If we were drinking coffee together……

I would tell you that my favorite season has started!  I love FALL!  I love football!  I am a Florida Gator so Saturdays are planned around game time and my hubby is a huge Green Bay Packer fan.  Yes, he is a cheesehead so there goes Sunday as well.  I love football, sports bars, my awesome football shirt collection,  cocktails and snacks!  I am a commercial waiting to happen! The weather in central Florida will drop a little and we can open the windows!  Silly I know but I love open windows and a nice breeze off our lake whipping thru the house!#Gators

If we were drinking coffee together……

I would like to mention these two words, Hunting Season!  I don’t know if that means anything to you but in my world my hubby is buying bullets, organizing his lists and getting ready for some good old-fashioned hunting in Wisconsin!  What does this mean for me?  Where do I start?  Endless happy hour gatherings with friends, I can eat humus and crackers for dinner and no one cares, I can watch 8 straight hours of the Housewives of something if I want, it is like being on vacation and never leaving home!  I love it!a1c724e835ac9f3da686db5703febd05

So my coffee drinking running friends what would you like to share with me this morning?  I am all ears! I will just go grab a second cup!  MB

Always love hunting season! Coffee on the porch overlooking the lake on a beautiful day! When can I come!

Drinking coffee now! LOVE having the windows open too, but mostly because the dogs can go in and out of the screen doors without me having to open them up. If they’re happy, I’m happy.

I think everyone is on the countdown for pumpkin spice coffee it seems! I love Halloween ! Even though my kids don’t trick or treat anymore they do come over and help answer the door- we love seeing the neighbors all dressed up – too cute!

  11. Yay for a fellow cheesehead! I live close to GB and it’s definitely a right of passage to be a Packer fan. I hope they have a great year. I love fall too!

SO happy to hear that your friend doesn’t need chemo or radiation! Both of my Aunts are breast cancer survivors and have battled a long road of illness and recovery- such a terrible disease! Also I can relate with you on all of your other points- hooray for football and my dad is a hunter so I know all about hunting season too 😉 Love Fall for both of those reasons! 🙂

God IS great! That is awesome news about your friend!
I do like fall even if it does mean winter is on its way. I love that it is soup weather the most!

  14. Amalia says:

Your enthusiasm for hunting season is like my enthusiasm for my fiance’s field season! He goes out into the field for work and I get to be messy, eat hummus and watch netflix for hours as well. I hope you enjoy it!

  15. What a fun post! I love fall too, but not because of football, just the weather, beautiful colors and the last opp to soak it all in before winter!

Also, thanks for visiting my blog and entering to win a lunch bag.
