Summer lovin’ and having a Blast! Giveaway!

Isn’t it time for a little summer lovin’?  I would say so!  So let’s kick it off with a few fun products I have tried out this summer!

First up:  Run Gum performance gum!  We all know I cannot run and chew or swallow or just about anything else at the same time.  Run Gum to the rescue.  You don’t have to run and chew it at the same time, you can chew it 5-10 minutes before.  This compressed energy gum has 100mg of caffeine, 40mg taurine and some B Vitamins.  I was surprised, it does work!  Last week I woke up to NO power!  What?  No coffee?  This sucks, I thought but I remembered the gum.  I started chewing (kind of reminds me of the old school chicklets gum), after 6 or 7 minutes I spit it out, chugged a little water and went running out the door.  Coach M had 4 miles on my plan and it was no problem!  Learn more!  #rungum

On Second base:  Rodan + Fields Lash Boost!  I am here to tell you, this is a game changer!  It is so easy to use.  You apply to the lash line each night before bed, (clean face), and it gets to work.  After 5 weeks I am already seeing a difference!  My lashes are thicker and longer.  When I add my mascara- voila!  I have to make sure my mascara dries before I blink or I have black dots under my eyebrows, they are so long!  It is a little pricey, $150 but when you compare to eyelash extensions it is cheap!  Right now the product is out of stock because it has been so popular!  You can check out all the products here and feel free to email my girl Chelsea at cnm2601@gmail.com and she will add you to the waiting list!

At Third base:  Z Blok Sunscreen!  Don’t you hate when you are active outside and you feel the drip? Next thing you know your eyes are stinging!  Z Blok’s sunscreen’s unique formula does not contain any fragrances or inexpensive petroleum-based ingredients, which may cause your eyes to sting. Z Blok does contain zinc oxide, which helps protect against skin cancer and premature skin aging without eye irritation.  It is highly water-resistant so it stays on your skin instead of coming off in the water and provides protection from both UVA and UVB rays.   I am giving this product a workout this summer!  I will let you know how my next skin check goes!

So for the home run:  Z Blok Sunscreen provided this cute summer tote so one of you can test this product out for yourself.   This kit includes a 4oz, 2oz, and a .5oz stick, perfect for swiping across the ears and nose!  Retail value $39.  There is still a lot of summer left!  Enter using the rafflecopter below.  This promo is only available to persons with a US address.  Enter now, the deadline is midnight on 7/27 and the winner will be notified by email on 7/28 and will have 24 hours to claim the prize.

Thanks to the fine folks at Z Blok who are trying to keep us all summer safe with zinc oxide!

What is one product you can’t live without this summer?  Have you tried any of the products I mentioned?

Wonder how that lash boost works? I used to have great lashes…until I got old! Ha! I popped in Run Gum at about mile 9 last weekend. I definitely got a boost but I bit my cheek. :p

It is some magically serum that they have created, I know some women are also using it on their eyebrows and getting great results. Now you know why I don’t run and chew gum at the same time- something always goes wrong! 🙂

My favorite new thing this summer is the new bike shorts I got at the big REI sale earlier this summer — they seem to have just the right padding! I use Neutrogena sunscreen but will check this out next time.

I really like rungum! I noticed that it does give me a little boost which is definitely appreciated during long runs, lol

My favorite thing this summer is compression shorts! I FINALLY found some at Old Navy that fit well and are long enough (I don’t do booty shorts)!

  10. I have tried the Run Gum a couple times, and I like it. Typically, I am not a gum-chewer, but somehow I can handle the gum while I’m running (don’t ask me how, because I’m a total klutz).

I was a big gum chewer when I worked, now that I was been off, not so much. I like the run gum, I have only chewed it before the run, I haven’t tried to use it yet during the run. 🙂

  11. I still need to try rungum!

The Z block looks like a good one. I like to avoid fragrances– they can contain phthalates, by the way– and zinc oxide is a good non-toxic sunscreen ingredient. Do you have a fragrance-free shampoo that you like?
