March in a wrap! My report card and where am I running?

March in a wrap!  It seems like March just flew by and April came in with warm balmy temperatures and we are on the fast track to summer!  How did I do in the live, love, laugh departments?  Let’s look at last week and the month.

When my last weekly wrap left you I was headed to New Orleans!  If you missed my recap, read it here and then come back!  That catches up thru Tuesday.  Coach M had just 2 more runs on the calendar for the month and I was already one day behind.

Wednesday on the plan:  I had 3 easy miles to do and it felt great after all the travel!  33:25  AVG HR 145

Thursday on the plan:  I am a day off so I made today a REST day and went to the Lowry Park Zoo for the day with my daughter and her best friend.  It was a fun day of checking out the animals and getting a little sunshine.

Friday on the plan:  4 mile tempo run.  The goal was to hit the 10:00 tempo for miles 2 & 3.  UGH, I didn’t get it.  10:34/10:18 next time!  AVG HR 150

Saturday on the plan:  I started the day with my ActivMotion bar workout.  This really got my Saturday sweating and I was super happy that I was able to hold ALL the plank exercises for the full time- progress!  AVG HR 104

I am hot and heavy into a Fitbit step challenge over the weekend so I talked the hubby into going to Epcot for the afternoon.  WE logged in over 9000 steps around the park, had some great food and caught the Little River Band concert.  It was a fun evening but let me tell you it was HOT!

Live:  All my miles are logged and every run completed!  A new race state was added to my map and I thoroughly enjoyed our little race cation to New Orleans.  I squeezed in 3 spring training games,  a movie during the day, and 4 hours of volunteering with the mobile food pantry.  Grade A

Love:  My time off has been fantastic and I feel like I am taking full advantage of my time!  I added a Monday morning yoga class to the schedule and I even treated myself to a facial!  My son got married this month and we are planning a baby shower for the end of April.  Love, love, love! Grade A

Laugh:  Yay for friends and lots of laughter!  The highlights of the month included my kayaking adventure day with Wendy and my time in New Orleans with Tricia.  Amazing, when I sit back and think that I did not know these wonderful ladies before I started running and blogging.  Grade A

So where am I off to next?
