Friday Five- 2017 edition

TGIF friends!  It is Friday and I am super happy about it!  I making my way thru year-end reports, action plans and reviews.  Time to grab a glass of wine and think about the things I am looking forward to this year, Friday Five style!

# 1 I celebrated my 5 year anniversary at my current company.  Although, no raises were given (nothing new in health care) I have 4 weeks of vacation pay sitting on the books!!!  That is 4 weeks of adventures waiting to be used!  New Orleans is first on my list! You know I am meeting Tricia at the Best Damn Race in New Orleans for a little fun and a great half marathon.  Where else am I dreaming of visiting?  Las Vegas, Ireland, Savannah, NYC, oh so many places, I cannot wait to plan some more!

#2  I am so looking forward to another year with Coach M!  What is in store for the two of us?  Well only Coach M knows, she is in charge- LOL!  I am sure there will be some miles, some laughing and I hope some travel!  If you have thought about hiring a running coach, I say, just do it!  Game changer my friends, game changer!

#3  Girl time!  I have never made it a secret, I love my girl time!  I have had the same best friend since I was 15 and I have made some other super friends as an adult that I just love! These get togethers mean the world to me and  whether we are sitting by a pool, running, or some other shenanigans they are important!  Stay tuned!  You know I will share!

#4  Me time!  I  really love and look forward to my yoga classes and plan to amp that up even more.  During my year of live, love and laugh I want to do more and more me time guilt-free.  Quality time with friends, sleep, self-care, and self love!  Need help getting your own campaign of self love started?  Check out this post from Jill Conyers.

SHE IS A GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!

#5  This one is most exciting of all.  I announced awhile back that I will be a Grandma this year.  This week I got some very exciting news, this baby is a GIRL!!!!  I cannot wait to buy her first pair of Asics, her first tutu, her first Packers t-shirt with ruffles, and see those cute little cheeks!  This will be one running granny but she can call me, Skippy.  Skippy, yes, that sounds good.  I may POP with excitement!

Thank you for stopping by.  2017 will be a great year, what are you looking forward to? #livelovelaugh
