August Coffee Date – Let me tell you….

Yum, August coffee, I still like it hot just like the weather, but I’ve got to have it!  So……….

Good morning friends!  It is so nice to see you!  Thanks for stopping by, let’s sit awhile and catch up!

Let me tell you

July was a hot one!  My gosh!  I managed to get in 50.50 miles and that was a struggle!  Some mornings I felt like I was running in slow motion!  July I had the Red, White & Brew 5K and I started the ZOOMA Summer challenge.

However in August, I don’t have one single timed run on my schedule!  What?  That is ok, I am a busy lady!  Did you catch my post last Friday?  My runfessions?  Well, next week is the week!

This place will be mine!  I am not sure whether I am going to pee my pants or throw up!  Who knows by the time I sign off on the dotted line!  I have a business training meeting and I will be in Minneapolis from 8/15-8/25.  Confession, I have never been this long away from home by myself!  I will be knee-deep in Play It Again Sports business boot camp and probably running on the hotel deadmill.

If you missed me on Instagram, the hubby and I spent a nice weekend on Anna Maria Island.  It was gorgeous!  Plus just the amount of rest and fun we needed before our lives change with this new business venture!  I will tell you, the sand is hard to beat!  I loved sitting in my chair watching people get beat to death with the waves,  oh yeah, I was mooned a time or too.  That is the funny stuff!

The grand babies are great!  I love to see them!  My little Luna is finally over 10 pounds and is quickly becoming an eating machine.  I love to see her stick up hair and she is trying so hard to grab things with her hands.  Babies……… they just make you smile!

So tell me, what are you looking forward to this month?

Don’t forget to stop by Deborah and Coco’s place for coffee too!

What an adorable photo of Luna! And the beach sounds beautiful 🙂 Though that’s pretty funny about getting mooned a couple times, I guess the ocean was rough that day.

The ocean was rough that day, especially for the west coast. Well, we had that tropical storm brewing so it made a fun day for people watching!

  12. Ohhhhh, little Luna is SUCH a sweet little princess 😉 Well, as you know, I have become a walking machine due to my circumstances. I never thought such an “easy” and “boring” endeavor could be so challenging, fun, and fulfilling.

Great job gettig in 50 miles this month! Yay for beaches! I just came back from one this afternoon! 😛

    Luna is adorable!

  15. I have never done a solo trip of that length, either. My guess is you’ll be way too busy to even think much about anything else (except maybe the grandkids).

We have no big plans at all this month — but of course it was a real whirlwind there for a while so to borrow your phrase, it’s all good. 🙂

  17. EEEEEEE! I can’t believe it’s almost go time for you! So exciting and scary all at once. Will you be able to take time off in March to kayak with me? I’ll have to come by you…

I don’t think you should run on the hotel treadmill in Minnesota–you need to enjoy those cooler mornings.
