My April progress and a FULL fall schedule!

It is Tuesday on the Run and run I did!  It is time to check on my April progress and update the running calendar!  My year of live, love, laugh is in full swing and I am enjoying all it has to offer!

LIVE:

I am much happier with my runs.  I feel like I am finally picking up the pace a bit and I am liking the extra bridge work during my long runs.  Coach M is getting me ready for Utah and I love it!  This will be a new state for me and a new challenge!  13.1 miles all downhill!  Sounds easy right?  Last summer was the summer of speed, this one will be summer of quads!  I have a trail run 5K at Bok Tower on Saturday, my time to beat is 33:08.  I think I got this!  Grade A

6 yoga classes, 1 Pure Barre class, 18 holes of golf, and 3 ActivMotion bar workouts.  I missed one drill workout and I am feeling like a slacker!  Grade B+

LOVE:

Remember, You always make time for the things you put first!  I made it a priority to start each Monday morning with a 8am yin yoga class.  It is a positive way to start the week and I hate to think about giving it up!  My 6 month dermatology appointment went well, my first Skippy babysitting shift conquered and lots of time with the kids, hubby and friends!  GRADE A

LAUGH:

I did mention more time with friends, right?  I had a 4 day girl’s weekend planned in April and it was just the right change of scenery for me!  We laughed, we shopped, we saw a musical, we ate and drank and we laughed some more!  Never underestimate the power of a girl’s weekend and that crazy SnapChat app!   GRADE A

So let’s do a little update on the race calendar.  I may have added something, I haven’t told Coach M yet but check out the month of November!

Did you catch that?  Yes, my BRF and I signed up for a marathon relay!  We each run a half marathon and she agreed to let me run first.  I am super excited to finally make it over to the east coast for Florida’s oldest marathon race!

What kind of progress did you make in April?  Where will I see you in 2017?

I am linking up with the TOTR ladies: Marcia, Erika, and Patty and Deb for the race link up- join us!

Woot for Space Coast! Everyone raves about those races. I’m glad you enjoy picking up the pace a little because we’re going to “sharpen our pencil” a bit in May. You’re going to own that trail race this weekend too!
