My Active life with Spandits!

I am thrilled to represent  and I want to share a little of my active life with Spandits!  I absolutely fell in love with my first pair of boardies!  Where else can you find a pattern like this?  I always say, I may not finish first but I like to look good when I finish!  I also like to feel good too!  My Spandits boardies are the perfect length.  They pull up high enough at the top so my shirt lays nicely and they are long enough to not show anything.  This pair I have worn and washed dozens of times and they still fit perfectly.  Nothing has shrunk or stretched out!img_4481.jpgimg_4727.jpg

Can we talk a minute about chafing?  I don’t know if it is a bigger issue for me in Florida than maybe you northern runners but I chafe.  I can chafe if I am too hot, too wet, too cold or just basically breathing.  For me, these boardies are the perfect length!  Not a chafe mark to be had not on my thighs or anywhere else.img_5475.jpg

Once I became an ambassador for Spandits my new pair of boardies arrived and I could not wait to get them on!  Here is an inside look at my Spandits photo shoot in Winter Haven.  My hubby is sure the neighbors think I am nuts as I slowly ran back and forth in front of my house while my hubby took multiple pictures!  Who care if they think I am crazy, I am looking good!

As a result of customer feedback, Spandits came out with a new addition.  You can now add a side pocket and keep your valueables closeby.  This smart little 3″ x 5″ pocket can be added to the outside of the right leg of a boardie, half tight, capris, 3/4 or tight!  So make sure you write in the  comment box which item you’d like us to put your pocket on.  Sweet!spanditspocket

Well enough about me, head over to Spandits and check out all the cool patterns and styles for yourself.  I don’t wear my boardies just to run in, they are also perfect for yoga too!  Right now and thru the rest of June you can take $10 off any pair of boardies you like.  Finally, make sure you tell them that I sent you and use the code SPLASHINTOSUMMER at the checkout for your discount!

Tell me, which is your favorite Spandits style?

  2. I love when companies know runners well enough to include a pocket in running shorts or skirts. Now that’s smart thinking!

  3. I love the phone pocket! Need to look into these 🙂

I also have to watch out for chafing – slightly longer and tight shorts are the way to go for me!

Those shorts are really cute. I don’t live in Florida but I have chafing issues too. I need to wear longer shorts, or skirts that have longer short liners or I really have problems after a few miles.

  7. These are adorable! The worst post-race experience I ever had was when I ran in a skirt (as part of a costumed event) but my shorts underneath were too short – I had the most painful thighs for like a week afterward, haha. These seem great since they’re longer!

I had that happen in my last half, the shorts were too short and I swore I would never! These are the perfect length I think, trust me they don’t move 🙂

    Very cute!

I don’t normally wear shorts like this (unless they are under a skirt), but they might be good for cycling. I will keep an eye out!

Yes they would be good for cycling and I have worn them under a skirt too- I tried shorter ones from another brand, and let’s just say, that wasn’t pretty!

I love your Spandits too! I definitely need full thigh coverage to prevent chafing! Cool idea for the pocket!

You know I am all about the Boardies in summer! I have some Lulu tights that sag in the crotch then chafe but not my Spandits! You are super cute on your photo shoot.;)

That is the worst! I was chafed one time so bad it looked like I had been malled by a beer- I was happy my hubby was out of town a few days! LOL! and thank you 🙂

  11. I’ve only tried the capris so far, but that little inside pocket was a joke. I didn’t know you could add a pocket — sweet!

Ah, how you’re tempting me. 🙂

Ok, so I may have to check these out. I also chafe! I use aquaphor and that helps, but when I do a longer run or half marathon, I hate to worry about getting caught halfway through and feeling that rub knowing that it’s not gonna be good come shower time! These seem to be reasonably priced and cute too!

Thank you Jill! I love the Spandits gear, it is not for the ladies that like to blend in! 🙂 Have a great weekend!

  18. Welcome to the Spandits! family! It’s so great when a company listens to feedback and welcomes ideas for improving their products, isn’t it? Spandits! is the only brand I’ve found to be tough enough to hold up to my demanding outdoor job and hobbies and you’re right – they totally prevent chafe and stay put when you’re sweating.
